There’s no better way to test out our fantastic lights than in your very own home! If for some reason you're not completely in love with it, just contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will organize your refund.
By default, every remote will be compatible with every Light by Elux Lamp (within either the Classic or Smart category).
That means that if you purchase two or more lamps, by default, each remote will be able to control all of the lamps.
Remotes can also be paired to one or more lamps so that the remote will only control these lamps and not others that they are not paired to. For info on how to set this up, see the question below.

To set this up:
1. Choose a remote, and unplug all lamps that you do not want to pair with the remote.
2. If you want to pair the remote with more than one lamp, plug in the two lamps so that they are close together and can be the target of the remote.
3. Aim the remote you want to pair at the lamp(s). and hold the blue part of the colour wheel (top) for 5 seconds.
4. The lamp(s) should then flash blue 3 times. This remote will now be paired to this lamp(s).
5. This process can then be repeated with other lamps/remotes in the house to pair them.
The main difference between our Classic and Smart Lamps is that Classic lamps can only be controlled by a remote. Smart Lamps, on the other hand, can be controlled by our smartphone app or a remote.
Also note that remotes are not cross compatible between Classic and Smart lamps.
It is difficult to replace LED bulbs that are on a light strip chain like ours. For that reason we do not sell or provide replacement bulbs or strips - we will simply replace the whole lamp.
Our LED's are rated for 50,000 hours. In comparison, regular incandescent bulbs are usually rated for around 1,000 hours.
The prices shown on our website and when products are added to your cart are in your local currency.
For example if you are in Canada, the currency displayed will be Canadian Dollars (CAD) and if you are in Japan, the currency shown will be in Japanese Yen (JPY).
When you place an order, your credit card or PayPal account will also be charged in your local currency. No currency conversion is required.

Thanks to our exclusive shipping agreements with Worldwide freight carriers, customs and duty fees are very rarely applied to our orders. These are applied at the discretion of the carrier.
Yes! We provide order tracking as soon as it is available.
When your order is fulfilled (usually the same day or next day, depending on order time) you will receive an email from us saying that your order has shipped.
Your order tracking number and a link to the carrier website will be provided in this email.
If your order tracking says that it has been delivered but you have not received it, please contact the local hub of the carrier of your shipment.
If they are unable to resolve the lost package, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you by contacting the carrier.
Light by Elux is not responsible for lost or stolen packages confirmed to be delivered to the shipping address provided.
Once an order is placed we begin to process it immediately. This allows us to provide the fastest shipping available. Because of this, once your order is placed with us you are unable to cancel it or edit it.
If you need to make any corrections to your order details, please contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not shipped, we can update your info.
If the order has already shipped, the carrier may charge a fee to update the shipping address. This fee would be the responsibility of the customer.
Of course! We offer free returns for 14 days from the date of delivery.
